Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activities – 2024:
As part of our continued commitment to community development and social responsibility, Diamond Cement Guinea SA undertook several initiatives in 2024 focused on improving the well-being and infrastructure of the local communities surrounding our operations.
1. Construction of Amarayah Market Yard & Toilets Completed the development of a new market yard and sanitation facilities in Amarayah village, significantly improving hygiene and trading infrastructure for the local population.
2. Construction of Mosque, Rest Shed, and Canteen near the Plant Main Gate-Built a mosque, a Rest Area, and a Canteen near the plant entrance for the benefit of workmen and residents from nearby communities, creating a space for spiritual, social, and daily welfare activities.
3. Development of Football Grounds in Amaraya and Wolia Villages Developed two football grounds aimed at promoting sports and youth engagement in Amaraya and Wolia villages. These facilities are expected to enhance community bonding and youth development.
4.Medical Assistance to Local Communities Provided timely and ongoing medical support to the surrounding village communities, offering help whenever required.
